Bangladesh And Afghanistan Players Go Unpicked At PSL 5 Draft

The PSL 5 draft concluded at NCA, Lahore on Friday with no Bangladesh and Afghanistan players picked by any of the PSL franchises.

The PSL 5 draft was the order of the day as there were many big names registered for the event. Many Bangladesh and Afghanistan players had also shown interest in the league and a few of them with the likes of Rashid Khan, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, and Tamim Iqbal were quite likely to grab attention of the six franchises.

To everyone’s surprise, however, none of the Afghanistan and Bangladesh players were picked at the PSL 5 draft. There were many Sri Lankans who featured in the draft as well but only Seekkugge Prasanna was able to grab the attention of the franchise owners.

The PSL 5 will start on 20th February, 2020 and will be played across four different venues in Pakistan. There’s a lot of interest in the upcoming event and fans are really looking forward to it.
