David Hussey, the Kolkata Knight Riders chief mentor at IPL 2020 has appreciated the talent pool available at the 13th edition of the tournament. He said he didn’t have any favorites as all the teams have some “really talented” players and they are quite capable of winning the tournament.
In his press talk, Hussey said that he doesn’t believe that any particular franchise could be declared clear favorites for the IPL 2020 title. All the teams are “really really talented” and they have some amazing players, both overseas and domestic.
The former Australian player added further that the IPL 13 would be really hard for a few players due to the long break that’s been induced by the ongoing cornovirus crisis. He said, many of the players have hit the nets after 4-5 months and will also be playing in foreign conditions as well. This might have a negative impact on their game.
