PSLPSL 2020 Kits

PSL 5- Multan Sultans Team Kit and Logo

Multan Sultans have only featured in a couple of PSL seasons until now and each time we had a different team and a different management. So, their branding changed in these two years as well. However, the franchise is still owned by the same group which bought it ahead of the PSL 4 and Ali Tareen and Taimoor Malik remain the proud owners of the franchise for the upcoming event as well. Talking about the PSL 2020 Multan Sultans Team kit and logo, we’ll see something similar as last year while the logo will remain exactly the same. Here are more details on it.

Multan Sultans Team Colors

The new branding for the franchise introduced ahead of PSL 2019 introduced two all-new colors for the team. It was green and blue with green being the dominant color featuring in most of the kit. The colors were inspired by the idea that Multan Sultans are the team of South Punjab so they reflect the vegetation and river water of this area. We don’t see the primary colors changing ahead of the PSL 2020 either and only the kit design is expected to change this time around.

PSL 2020 Multan Sultans Official Team Kit

As usual, the new kits are revealed just ahead of the tournament in a small ceremony and we expect the same trend to follow for the revelation of the PSL 2020 Multan Sultans team kit as well. Want any major changes? Well, we might see a few changes in the new kit design but for most part things will stay the same.

For PSL 2019, the Multan Sultans kit was a perfect blend of green and blue colors with blue featured on top and in the shoulders while the green following down from just below the chest and right till the toe. The team logo was evident along with the sponsor logos on the chest. An interesting feature was the motif of the “Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya Shrine” and the “Old Fort” which was engraved horizontally at the bottom section of the shirt. It created amazing vibes and looked pretty local for the Sultans.

We’ll keep you posted about the PSL 5 Multan Sultans team kit and any news will be shared right here as soon as officially announced.

PSL 2020 Multan Sultans Logo

The new Multan Sultans logo that was introduced by the new management was somewhat of a remake of their first logo featuring a conqueror riding a horse and making a victory sign by waving his bat. However, the new logo also features the fort and the shrine in the background as well. Also, the rider is now shown straight pointing his bat forward rather than towards the viewer. The horse features the word “Multan” written on it in yellow color while the “Sultans” is written in bold letters just below it serving as the base for the logo. Below the logo goes team’s tagline “Janoob Ki Pehchan” written in Urdu. It means “The Identity of the South”. Overall, it’s quite a creative logo with so many design elements.

Multan sultans finished last in both the seasons they have participated in despite the change in their management. So, we expect something special from them this year and some determination will have to be shown by the players to achieve something this season.
