The Pakistan Cricket Board has come up with the new announcement on the PSL 2020 tickets refund giving cricket fans a new lifeline on claiming their money back. Fans who haven’t yet received their PSL 2020 tickets refunds will be able to claim their money back in the new round of the refunding process that is going to run until September 25.
In the latest press release from PCB today, the management eased concerns of the ticket holders and said that they’d be able to avail their refunds at the “designated TCS Express Centers in Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Gujranwala, Karachi, Islamabad, Multan, Lahore, Peshawar, Sukkur, Rawalpindi, and Quetta.”
“To avail the cash refund, the ticket holders will be required to provide original un-tampered tickets to the TCS staff for validation,” it added.
Earlier in March, the last four games of the Pakistan Super League 2020 were indefinitely postponed amid coronavirus crisis and several of the last few games were played behind closed doors.
After the country-wide lockdowns, the management of Pakistan Cricket Board held a couple of refunding phases in the process which had been interrupted by the monsoon rains in Karachi as well. According to the PCB, so far they have “repaid more than 59,500 tickets worth Rs. 60,612,900.”
Now the playoffs as well as the PSL 2020 Final have been rescheduled for mid-November and all the four games will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. It is unlikely that the cricket fans will still be allowed at the Gaddafi Stadium during these matches.
