PSL 2020 To Resume In November After COVID-19 Halt: Officially Confirmed

The PCB today officially confirmed the resumption schedule of PSL 2020 after the tournament was postponed ahead of the knockouts on 17th March earlier this year amid COVID-19 threats.

The remaining four matches of the tournament are now scheduled to be played in Lahore between November 14 and 17. The Qualifier and the Eliminator 1 are set to be the double-header while Eliminator 2 is scheduled on November 15. The PSL 2020 Final will be played on Tuesday November 17.

The new dates for the remaining PSL matches have been finalized after discussions and consultations with four participating teams – Multan Sultans, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, and Karachi Kings. The match timings will be confirmed in due course.

All the remaining matches will be played behind closed doors under the COVID-19 protocols and will also include the bio-secure bubble to keep match officials, players, and event-related staff. Whether the decision to play these matches behind closed doors remains intact or not is yet to be seen as the authorities will be monitoring the situation closely and will review the decision in October.
